Abseiling down the National Lift Tower, Northampton
Two dedicated members of our Gold Street showroom team at Michael Jones Jeweller are gearing up for an incredible personal challenge: abseiling down the iconic National Lift Tower in Northampton on 6 June 2026.
This towering structure, standing at an impressive 418 feet, is the largest abseil tower in the world. Originally constructed in the 1980s as a testing facility for lifts, it now serves as a thrilling venue for abseiling adventures.
Sam and Matt are taking on this daunting challenge to raise vital funds for The Lowdown, a Northampton-based charity committed to providing essential mental health support to young people. Mental health is a cause close to our hearts, and The Lowdown’s work ensures that young individuals receive the help and hope they need during difficult times.
Despite fears and nerves, the determination to make a difference shines through. We believe that by facing this challenge head-on, we can inspire others and bring much-needed attention and resources to mental health support.
"I am terrified of heights" - Sam
We invite you to join us on this journey by supporting our fundraising goal of £1,500. Every contribution brings us closer to empowering young people with the care they deserve. Together, we can make a lasting impact—please donate today and help us reach new heights for mental health.
