MJJ Community
At Michael Jones Jeweller, giving back to our community has always been an important part of who we are. As a co-operative business, owned and run for the benefit of our members and staff, we believe success should be shared – not just within the company, but with the wider community that has supported us over the years.
Each year, we contribute to the Michael Jones Jeweller Community Fund, with recent annual donations of over £40,000 going directly to local charities, schools, and projects in Northampton and Banbury. Our aim is to provide practical support where it’s most needed, whether through donations, sponsorships, or staff involvement.
We are proud of our long-standing relationship with Workbridge, a charity co-founded by Michael Jones in 1980, and our ongoing pledge to support The Lowdown, a local mental health charity for 11–25 year olds.
Overall, our charitable efforts support more than 50 local causes annually, reflecting our commitment to creating positive change in the Northampton and Banbury communities that resonates far beyond the walls of our business.
We also encourage our staff to get involved by offering a paid volunteering day each year. Together, these efforts reflect our commitment to strengthening the communities we serve. By working together with local organisations and empowering our employees to contribute their time and skills, we aim to create lasting, positive change. Our charity work reflects our values as a co-operative: collaboration, responsibility, and community spirit. At Michael Jones Jeweller, we are proud not only to serve our customers but also to stand alongside our neighbours, helping to build a stronger and more supportive community for all.
