Bremont Unveils Two Exceptional Creations

Bremont marked Dubai Watch Week 2025 with the exclusive unveiling of two remarkable additions to its horological portfolio: the Terra Nova 40.5 Jumping Hour Aventurine, a 50-piece limited edition, and the Skeletonised Altitude Perpetual Calendar GMT Monopusher, a newly open-worked interpretation of one of the brand’s most technically sophisticated timepieces. Together, these launches reflect Bremont’s continued commitment to refined design, innovation, and contemporary British watchmaking excellence.

The Terra Nova 40.5 Jumping Hour Aventurine – A New Chapter of Elegance

Expanding the Terra Nova Jumping Hour collection, Bremont introduced the Terra Nova 40.5 Jumping Hour Aventurine, limited to just 50 pieces worldwide. Presented for the first time at Dubai Watch Week, the model brings a striking new material to the Terra Nova line: a deep blue Aventurine dial paired with a frosted 904L steel case and blue leather strap. While the design is undeniably elegant, it remains true to the Terra Nova ethos of durability and high performance.

Following April’s debut of the Jumping Hour model in 904L steel with a black gloss dial at Watches & Wonders 2025, this Aventurine edition becomes the second instalment in the 40.5mm Jumping Hour family—marking the first appearance of Aventurine within the Terra Nova field watch collection.

Aventurine is celebrated for its shimmering depth, and each dial is cut using diamond tools before being polished to a radiant finish and mounted on a metal backing plate for added strength. Complementing the dial is Bremont’s first frosted 904L steel case, a surface treatment that creates a brilliant, diamond-like sparkle across the metal, enhancing the play of light and accentuating the model’s contemporary geometry.

The Terra Nova collection, launched in 2024, is defined by rugged elegance and exceptional legibility inspired by historic field watches. The new Aventurine model proudly carries this DNA. Inside is the Bremont calibre BC634, developed in partnership with Sellita under an exclusive two-year agreement and first showcased within two models at Watches & Wonders 2025.

With a 56-hour power reserve, the movement features a high-torque Jumping Hour complication capable of an instantaneous hour change in under one tenth of a second. Its balanced layout ensures clarity, harmony and ease of reading.

Bremont CEO Davide Cerrato comments:
“The Jumping Hour complication has always fascinated me. It’s a connoisseur’s complication—mechanically sophisticated yet visually minimalist. This new Aventurine edition represents Bremont’s dedication to modern craftsmanship and our ability to surprise with new materials, finishes, and ideas. Dubai Watch Week felt like the perfect stage to unveil it—a celebration of horological creativity and the passion of collectors.”

A Standout at Michael Jones Jeweller's Christmas Exhibition

Shortly after its global unveiling, the Terra Nova Jumping Hour Aventurine was previewed at our private Christmas Exhibition, where it drew exceptional praise from guests. The piece’s rarity and distinctive Aventurine dial proved especially compelling—so much so that one of the 50 limited editions was purchased during the event, underscoring the strong early demand for this release.

The Skeletonised Altitude Perpetual Calendar GMT Monopusher – Mechanical Artistry Revealed

Also unveiled exclusively at Dubai Watch Week was Bremont’s newest technical masterpiece: the Skeletonised Altitude Perpetual Calendar GMT Monopusher. This edition celebrates the beauty and ingenuity of the Agenhor-designed movement housed within, presenting a new level of visual transparency and mechanical drama.

First introduced at Watches & Wonders 2025, the original model united two formidable complications—Perpetual Calendar and GMT—within a robust, expertly engineered format. Crafted in lightweight Grade 2 titanium and featuring Bremont’s signature three-piece Trip-Tick® case, the Altitude Perpetual Calendar is designed for collectors who demand refinement, resilience, and everyday practicality.

Perpetual Performance and Aviation-Inspired Utility

The skeletonised model retains the functionality and clarity of the Altitude line. Its openworked dial displays complex indications with exceptional legibility, supported by decorative arms in Air Force Blue that reinforce the subdials while upholding the Altitude collection’s signature design language.

A domed globe disc at 12 o’clock provides a second time zone, monitored via an arrow linked to a 24-hour, day-and-night scale—echoing the globe display seen in the 2024 Terra Nova Dual-Time Tourbillon. A mono-pusher integrated into the crown allows the GMT indication to advance in one-hour increments, while correctors at 2 and 4 o’clock adjust the date, month and leap-year cycle.

Running seconds appear at 9 o’clock via a lume-tipped two-blade “propeller” hand, while the perpetual calendar’s additional indications occupy the 3 o’clock and 6 o’clock subdials. The month and leap-year cycle are displayed using a four-blade propeller-style hand with three white-tipped blades and one red-tipped blade. The red blade indicates the current year in the leap-year cycle; the month is shown subtly as each blade passes through the first sector. The movement of this propeller is nearly imperceptible, advancing in 172 micro-steps across four years.

Skeletonised Craftsmanship

The perpetual calendar and GMT module is created exclusively for Bremont by Agenhor in Geneva, the acclaimed movement specialists founded by Jean-Marc Wiederrecht. Known for its ingenious mechanical solutions and collaborations with brands including MB&F, H. Moser & Cie, and Hermès, Agenhor’s expertise is fully showcased in this openworked edition.

By revealing the inner architecture, the skeletonised design highlights the movement’s elegant simplicity, including the ‘Côtes de Genève’ finishing on the bridges and an engraved Wayfinder logo on the mono-pusher lever. The base calibre, the manually wound AMT6900 from Sellita’s elite AMT manufacturing programme, keeps the movement slim at just 6.8mm, contributing to a case height of 12.65mm.

As Davide Cerrato notes:
“The skeletonised Altitude Perpetual Calendar GMT takes the complexity of this watch and makes it tangible, visible, and captivating. It allows collectors to see the interplay between the GMT and perpetual calendar complications, while retaining all the robustness, usability, and distinctive character of the Altitude Collection.”

With its openworked structure, intricate high-end complications, and aviation-inspired lines, this edition stands at the pinnacle of Bremont’s watchmaking achievements—crafted for connoisseurs who value mechanical mastery and bold, contemporary design.
