At Michael Jones Jeweller, we have made a conscious effort to greatly reduce our paper usage by transitioning to a paperless system for much of our administration. Each showroom is equipped with a robust recycling system to manage both standard and confidential waste efficiently.

By installing automatic lights in common areas and encouraging mindful energy use, we have significantly reduced our energy consumption. Additionally, we reuse packaging materials from incoming deliveries and have replaced disposable cups with reusable alternatives.

Understanding the environmental impact of packaging, we have invested time and resources into finding the best sustainable packaging solutions for our online orders. Our unbranded cardboard boxes are 100% recyclable, and we use paper tape instead of plastic to facilitate easier recycling. For internal protective packaging, we use potato starch-based fillers that are compostable and dissolve in water, offering an eco-friendly alternative to traditional materials like polystyrene.

For instance, our partnership with Feefo, the world’s largest verified reviews provider, helps fund tree-planting projects in exchange for customer feedback.
