As many of our long standing customers will remember, back when things were normal, as part of our usual Christmas festivities, we would hold a raffle during our Christmas exhibition for everyone who has made a purchase on the day to be in the chance of winning an exceptional piece of jewellery.
Over the years we have given away beautiful designer necklaces, diamond line bracelets, long pearl strands and diamond cluster rings. Since the pandemic began and we haven't felt able to hold our exhibitions for a few years, we still felt that we should keep the tradition of having a Christmas raffle. This year, to celebrate acquiring the prestigious Fabergé brand in our Gold Street showroom, we decided to give away our biggest prize ever. A Fabergé Heritage White Gold Diamond & Teal Guilloché Enamel Snowflake Surprise Locket.
This stunning locket featured teal guilloché enamel and round white diamonds, set in 18 karat white gold. In keeping with its fondness for delight, surprise and discovery, Fabergé concealed a snowflake decorated with white diamonds inside the locket.
From the Heritage collection, it draws inspiration from Fabergé’s historical masterpieces. Traditional materials and complex traditional techniques, such as the delicate art of guilloché enamelling and hand-engraving, make up the signature elements of this colourful and opulent collection.
Our raffle ran from the end of November throughout December and was open for all customers spending over £250.00 during this time and we drew the winner using a random number generator during our January co-operative meeting with all the staff members. The lucky winner was Mr Smith who had visited with his daughter in December to purchase his lovey wife a Christmas gift.
The family came into store recently to collect their new Fabergé pendant and Mr and Mrs Smith lovingly gifted the precious pendant to their daughter.
