We know that sometimes the hardest part of buying Christmas gifts is thinking of what to get! So we've asked our staff to pick their favourite pieces in the hope that it can help inspire you with your own Christmas shopping.
We recently took on the brand Shaun Leane in our Banbury Showroom. I didn’t know too much about his range of jewellery but knew he worked closely with Alexander McQueen designing some amazing pieces for his catwalk shows. I have several favourite pieces within his range but at the moment my top pick would be the hook earrings.
They come in three different sizes and are available in Sterling Silver, Rose Gold Vermeil or Yellow Gold Vermeil plating. I love the edgy look of these hooks and the way you can mix the sizes together or pair them with other earrings. Also they were worn by Jodie Comer in an episode of Killing Eve!
Jamie's PickThe Zenith Chronomaster 42 El Primero Zenith are a fairly new addition to the Banbury showroom, I remember eagerly awaiting our first stock shipment as I hadn't experienced their product in person before. I'd researched the brand extensively and was impressed with the technological prowess they displayed. When that shipment arrived, this was the first timepiece I handled. I was so blown away by the beauty of this watch that the rest of the stock remained in it’s packaging for quite a while. I now proudly wear one of these timepieces every day and still lose myself to admiring it.
Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring I believe this Sapphire and Diamond ring is truly stunning. Sapphire and Diamond are the birthstones for my children, so they will always hold a special place in my heart. This ring is hand set in Platinum, which is the ideal material for this exquisite design. With the hardness of these beautiful Gemstones they are the perfect choice to be worn every day.
I have used Garmin product for various sports over 15 years, the Fenix 6 Pro solar is the highest spec model I have used. There is a noticeable jump in what it offers, I have been very impressed with the large battery life between charges, with the solar top up, it also comes packed with tools and data to analyse and monitor performance. Specific menus for a wide range of disciplines give you the information that you would normally expect from a Garmin along with analysis of technique and efficiency, it has improved pacing that takes into account course terrain. Full colour detailed maps makes navigation easy when both training or hiking or just finding your way around a new city. With pre-loaded Golf courses, Garmin pay, music and a huge array of physiological measures calculating quality of training effort, recovery and sleep along with suggested workouts, it’s a personal trainer on your wrist.
Anna's PickSolitaire Diamond Studs
When faced with the near impossible task of picking my favourite piece of jewellery from across our showrooms I began by looking at all the big flashy unique statement pieces – all the items that you don’t see everyday. We have some beautiful items to choose from but when it comes to my style – the classic pieces steal my heart. I love jewellery that I can wear everyday that I can style with everything to any occasion whether it be a fancy wedding or a muddy walk in my jeans and wellies. These simple diamond studs are just that item. These 20pt diamonds are small and dainty, endlessly wearable and affordable. These make the ideal special gift perhaps for a wedding or birthday – or just a treat for yourself after a tough year- you deserve it!
Since we started stocking Wolf watchwinders and jewellery boxes 5 years ago, the designs have just got better and better. The quality and styling is now so eye-catching and perfect for the modern watch collector. My favourite piece I have chosen is from the new Racing Green collection which has only just been launched in the UK.
The old style quad angled watch box lid looks gorgeous with its’ triple winders and fluted bezel trim. The further storage on top for cufflinks and collar stiffeners is constantly useful, as well as a travel case for trips away and this is a true piece of stylish furniture for collectors.
Gentlemen do not get many options in gifts from jewellery stores unless you are committing to the full watch purchase, but this gift is a definite winner for Christmas.
Clogau – Kensington Love Story Pendant This necklace is a tribute to the brooch Prince Albert presented Queen Victoria the day before their wedding day. This is my most desired piece in the Kensington Love Story Collection because the London Blue Topaz looks exquisite with the Welsh Rose gold complimenting the blue. This pendant is set in sterling silver with an adjustable chain of either 18, 20 or 22 inches which means that it can be worn daily or for special occasions no matter what I am wearing! My favourite colour is blue so it only makes sense that this beautiful, timeless pendant from Clogau would also be my most favoured piece.
Robert's PickRolex Cellini Dual Time
My choice is the Rolex Cellini Dual Time 18ct Everose gold with chocolate dial. The 39mm case is an ideal match for the smaller wrist, a beautifully engine turned dial combined with Rolex Everose gold captures fine traditional watchmaking.
Clare's Pick Pearl and Diamond Swirl Set There is a beautiful pendant and earring set I would like to share with you, the moment I saw it I feel in love with it. I think this set has an elegance about it, with the combination of diamonds and pearls. The white gold complement both gems especially the way the pearl is set within the spiral design, I feel it gives this piece of jewellery a bit of a modern touch, but also the simplicity of the design shows of the beauty of the pearl.
