Pre-Owned Amethyst, Demantoid Garnet, Diamond and Seed Pearl Pendant

A beautiful and symbolic piece from the early twentieth century, this original Suffragette pendant is set with an oval amethyst, vibrant demantoid garnets, sparkling diamonds and delicate seed pearls.

Suffragette jewellery was rich in meaning, with gemstones chosen for their colours - violet (amethyst), green (demantoid garnet) and white (diamonds and pearls) - representing Give Women Votes.

This pendant is a wonderful example of that heritage, combining elegance with historical significance.

The oval amethyst forms a striking centrepiece, complemented by the vivid green garnets and the soft lustre of seed pearls, while diamonds add a refined brilliance. Beautifully balanced and full of period charm, the pendant is supplied with a short choker length 14 inch chain, ready to wear and treasure.

A rare and meaningful antique, in its original fitted box, perfect for collectors or anyone drawn to jewellery with both beauty and powerful history. 45mm bale to pearl drop.
