The Avenger Automatic 42 combines the collection’s robust construction with the balanced proportions of a 42 mm stainless-steel case. New graduated lacquered dials in black, blue and green deepen towards the outer edge. In blue, rich tones transition to midnight shades, recalling the changing light of the night sky. In green, the shades evoke the patina of vintage aircraft. The finish adds depth and a contemporary edge, while the darker perimeter draws the eye towards the centre of the dial.Breitling’s wings-and-anchor logo returns to the dial. Polished bezel rider tabs and bracelet centre links provide contrasting highlights against the satinised steel, bringing greater definition to the case and bracelet. Powered by the COSC-certified Breitling calibre 17 automatic movement, the Avenger Automatic 42 is water resistant to 300 metres. Hands and indexes coated with Super-LumiNova® provide legibility in low light, while the grip pattern on the crown and bezel allows easy operation. Each version is available on a stainless-steel bracelet or a colour-matched rubber strap, secured by a stainless steel folding clasp with push-pin micro-adjustment for easy extension and a comfortable fit.
